2018 RT29CB. Checked on tug this afternoon and noticed dehumidifier wasn't working. Noticed no AC power at gauge. Checked power cord, power station at dock and ELCI. Powered everything down and reattempted. Is there another breaker other than in the cave?

Check in the forward cubby starboard side cockpit. There are two breaker types in there I’ve had to reset on 2019 29cb

No, sorry. There’s no 110 power to the whole ship

When you say you checked the pedestal and shore power cord do you mean visually? Or that you used a multimeter to ensure you were getting power at the pedestal outlet and that when you plugged the power cord into that outlet you measured 110 voltage at the end of the power cord attaching to the boat. Until you have done that, there’s not much point in searching for problems inside the boat.

You're right. I need to get a multi-meter and check it. But my neighbor's RT29 has power, so I didn't suspect the marina

Individual pedestals can and do fail. Happened to me once several years ago.

There is also sometimes an internal breaker in the pedestal, which has tripped at my slip before. So check all of those things and then you'll have more insight...

Providing its not a shoreside problem, try the GFI switch/plug on the forward side of the charger/inverter. It’s hard to see, but check if it tripped. If so, nothing downstream will work…charger, pass through to the AC…etc.

No, it wasn't tripped. Thank you for the tip.

Can anyone recommend an electrician in the Tacoma, WA area who will work on my boat at its slip on Fox Island?

I had a similar problem on my C28. I had power to the boat, but no power anywhere in the boat. All circuit breakers looked OK. After studying the boat's electrical schematic I noticed there was a circuit breaker hidden somewhere. On my boat, I found the breaker under the convection oven against the outer hull. To get to the breaker, you have to lay on the floor, take everything out from under the convection oven, and then with a flashlight and an 18" stick, push the breaker back on. You might have a similar situation.

Why on earth would they put a breaker there? I’ll look, thanks

Spoke with Tim Bates and he referred me to the Kisae rep. Swapped out my inverter/charger for a new one and problem solved. Got shore power back on. Thanks again to our amazing Ranger reps.
