I have a 2017 Cutwater 28LE. For some reason, my AC panel shows it is only getting around 10 volts when hooked into Shore power. I am guessing that the 10 volts is from solar panel.

I used a multimeter to check the Dock 30am/125V power supply and it is fine. I tried cleaning up all of the electrical contacts and even replaced the shore power cord with a new 30amp 125 volts cord.

Still I am only getting 10 Volts to the AC panel when hooked up to shore power. However when I run the generator, my AC panel shows 125 volts coming through and everything on boat runs fine. Interesting when I first got this problem, I noticed my AC panel spiked a couple of times from 10 volts to 125 volts then back to 10 volts.

Is there a fuse that I could have blown that manages the Shorepower? Is there something else I should check or replace on the boat.

Greatly Appreciate and all feedback or thoughts.

Surprised no one has weighed in yet on your question. So I’ll give it a limited try. Offhand, sounds like an inverter issue.

When you said you had dockside power, I couldn’t tell if that was at the post, or at the cord coming off the post. But you’ve replaced your cord. So first, do you get good voltage on the cord at the boat side plug? If so, I’d be checking the output from the inverter before going further. If there’s no output there, either something needs to be set or reset on the inverter, or the inverter may be toast for some reason.

Again, that’s just a relative novice’s take on starting to troubleshoot. You might start there and post your results, in case others have ideas from there.

On the 2014 LE there is a breaker that is difficult to reach - under the oven in the small cabinet way at the back. Check that something hasn’t hit it or tripped it?
