I just hooked up my 242 Cutwater to shore power after a time on the water, moved the panel to the correct settings and the LED panel did not light up. The reverse polarity light was on (?) but the green shore panel light was not. I checked to see if cable was plugged in, and it was with cord connecter light showing power was available. Any thoughts on why the panel was not lighting up and what is going on?

Reverse polarity is not a good thing. I would check another power pedestal to ensure the pedestal your on is not wired incorrectly.

I checked the polarity of the power source, and it is wired correctly....not sure where the problem is...(?)

I have had the reverse polarity light light up when using long (multiple) power cords at Roche Harbor. The reverse polarity circuit is really sensitive to these long runs which can cause it to incorrectly light. The power connection actually was correct polarity and worked fine.

That might be the issue. It is a long cord (75') connected to the boat...I've checked polarity and it is ok....Thanks..
