I'm an owner of a R-21. I was at the docks in Silverdale, WA and a large (probably 35-40 ft) sport yacht ended up hitting my boat. Looking at the damage, it looks like he only caught my starboard bow rail (some pretty decent scratches). I looked over the rest of the hull after I took her out of the water and didn't notice any other scratches. My question though, is it possible that the force from the other boat cracked anything internal that I can't see? Is there anything else I should be concerned about?

If he caught you between his boat and the dock (between the rock and a hard place), I think it is perfectly legitimate to ask that he (or his insurance) pays for a marine inspector/surveyor to lend their official eye. He may have just scratched or bent the rail. But he also may have cracked some metal fittings, or yanked the base around and damaged the caulking or backing plate or hardware, etc.

Good advice!!!!!

Ok, that's kind of what I was thinking. I called Ranger Tugs today and they are going to send someone out to look over our boat. Thanks for the help!
