Hi, since new I have never had strong water pressure for showering. I heard other owners brag about their showers and pressure. Should the water pump kick on and off while running the water?

Yes, the pump can/may/will cycle when you are drawing water.
If you have a low flow rate at the nozzle start by disassembling the screen in the wand and looking for bits of plastic clogging it.
The workers are not always careful when cutting the piping and shavings can be in the pipe when assembled.
If that is not the answer, how is the flow at the sink?
I have a 25 so I don't know where the various filter screens are in a 29. Probably a call to the factory is in order - and others may chime in here.
Clogged screens in the fresh water system have been a frequent topic on here.
A dip in the archives might be enlightening.

Try installing an expansion tank. I did that on my last boat. It has a rubber bladder on one side, you put it in line with the fresh water pump on the house side. You pump up the pressure to 15 lbs with a bicycle pump be for installing it. It works pretty good. It will eliminate that pulsing and the pump will only come on to fill the tank.

Yes I took apart the shower head and hose and made sure it was clear. The tap at the sink has great pressure and yes my pump cycles on and off. Wish the shower had pressure like the wash down pump. That pump doesn't cycle.I put the boat to bed for the winter so I was just looking for ideas for next spring.I might just change the pump for the boat was a demo at boat shows. The macerater did not work on day one so I think maybe some off the pumps may have been run dry.

The sink tap and the shower are the same pump . If you are good at the kitchen sink then must be a clog somewhere. My shower works great and no cycling as pump runs steady for shower.. I would remove shower head and see if just the hose works good.. If not then perhaps something in the taps? Keep working backwards until it works as good as the sink. To see where the restriction is
Good luck

Again, extrapolating from my 25. I had a shower that would not do more than dribble. The braided hose that feeds the shower head was folded over and pinched right at the back side of the shower head because the workers did not cut down the pipe properly. I had a thread on that with pictures. I'm not finding that thread at the moment, but pictures are in my album.

Hopefully this is not your problem.

Thanks I will check it out.
