Shower/ Water pump

Hi, since new I have never had strong water pressure for showering. I heard other owners brag about their showers and pressure. Should the water pump kick on and off while running the water?

Yes, the water system is not continuously pressurized. It's just like when you use the galley sink - it pulses as the pump runs.
