Side-Power Thruster Remote Receiver Location-2021 R29CB

The thruster remote function has never operated since the new boat delivery (2021 R29CB). I returned the remote control to the manufacture (Side-Power) and they said that when the battery had been installed the connector was bent. They repaired the battery connector (needle-nose pliers fixed bent connector) and returned the remote, at a cost to me. They said to sync the remote with the receiver (a small black box with a small antenna and a very small white button). Challenge: Find the receiver on the boat. I have not found anyone that knows where the receiver is located on the boat. I left a message with Fluid Motion, no return call yet. I am beginning to think the receiver was never installed on the boat.

Any suggestions? Thank you.

I cant find mine either. The previous owner used it, so I know it exists. I guess it needs to be reset every time you add new batteries?

I replace my batteries yearly and do not need to re-sync. It's a safety thing to make sure they aren't dead when you need it.

Can't guarantee where it is on an R29 on the R31 it is under the thruster controls at the main helm.

Sorry for the long delay. I never found the receiver. I think it is hidden under the shelf that contains the throttle and trim tab controls.
