sign up page broken

Hi, not sure who to direct this to. There is a bug in the sign up page for tugnuts

if you don't choose to be on the mailing list (by choosing No) you don't get sent the invite mail to activate your account. even if you go in and specifically ask to be sent another one.
its also impossible to find a contact to raise the issue to as you have to be signed in to see that information.

the next challenge is that you cannot reuse the email address and sign up again; this time choosing to be on the mailing list because the account is now taken but unactivated.

I'd recommend either allowing the activation email to be sent, even if people select, don't put me on the mailing list. or make mailing list membership mandatory.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We will have a look at it and make changes as necessary. The good news is the mailing list from our company is pretty minimal. We don't bother people with a bunch of spam.

Thanks Andrew. I didn't realise the mailing list was from ranger and not the standard forum type email. At this point, I am trained to uncheck the "would you like to subscribe to our newsletter" for all the websites one signs up that I unchecked it on tugnuts too!
