Hello Everyone,
Been trying to get Sirius Satelllite
Can not seem to get the required Sirius ID # from the Clarion CMD5 which came installed on the my Ranger 25
Does any one know how to obtain the ID# (Page 22) directions Do not work
Is a required additional SIR-Cl3m module need to be installed ? If so where do you purchase one? Sirius Has no clue & Clarion will not respond. Any help would be appreciated.

]PS
We are also waiting in the Northeast for the ECM for the cold start issue
however my husbands other Cummins deisels have a Air heater for the intake & once he put a hair dryer to the intake on the air cleaner housing and it warmed up she started right up!!

Denise,
Yup , you need two modules. The Clarion is sat ready but...... You can buy them at auto sound stores. They might have it in one gadget now.

Denise - The CMD-5 requires 2 separate add-on modules to receive and process Sirius Sat radio. They are a Sirius Connect No. SC-C1, and Clarion Sat. Interface No. CLA-SC1. These plug into the CeNet connection on the back of the CMD-5. The SC-C1 includes an auto style magnetic mount antenna which you hopefully could replace with a marine Sirius antenna. YIKES! Good luck. Alex, "Kamalani"
PS - Google these model Nos. to find a supplier. I noticed one called "Sonic Electronics" which offered these two together.

I purchased the antenna and converter at West Marine.

If you have a car system, you can bring it into the boat. It will work the same there (using the FM transmitter). It saves the expense of having another subscription with sirius. You might just need to run a new permanent antenna so you dont have to tinker with reception each time.
