Dear fellow Tug Nuts: My vessel, 'Rhapsody', is a 2010 model R21-EC. I wish to screw a s/s lifebuoy holder to the outside of the wheelhouse sliding door, just below the window. When I am underway, it is a good place to secure my SOLAS life buoy and easy to reach in event of an emergency. Before I start drilling pilot holes for the screws, can anyone tell me if the door is solid core GRP or cellular in construction. The point I make is if I drill holes and insert screws in a cellular construction they will not hold and over time may work loose. If it is solid material, well and good. Your collective thoughts, please? Kind regards from Down Under. Stevan
