Does anyone have any insight into how the sliding teak hatch was installed that closes over master stateroom?
My screws all rattled or ripped out, so now I have to refill and redrill the holes in the gelcoat that hold the slider bracket.
It is a total enigma how the the two sliding elements separate to expose all the screws. It’s not like a drawer where it pulls apart at the end. What is the trick?
Thanks

Have pull the headliner down. Also, why not just put a backer plate underneath and use stainless nuts and bolts?

Can’t access the back side it is in the head area behind Fiberglass liner.
I am talking about slider right in front of passenger seat. What I have done already is filled holes with 610 epoxy and refilled holes, can’t get to third screw hole, so weird
