Ahoy !
With the increase of the newer, bigger and faster Ranger Tug models being available, those of us with the smaller and slower, 21 & 21ec models are finding it more difficult to participate in "Tug" cruises and events.

So I'm wondering if there is any interest in events, etc. for just us "slower" Tugs? Perhaps in 2021 after this virus thing hopefully gets under a bit more under control.

Just wondering
Thanks
Larry

Although we're on opposite coasts, I prefer cruising at slower speeds and would be very happy to cruise in the company of so called 'slower tugs'.

Larry, count me in! Maybe a Columbia, snake river cruise from Lewiston Id to Portland with a strong current we could make it in a few days. Anyway put me on your list. Thanks Bob

I bought the R25SC for a reason. I have had fast boats and been on fast boats.I didn’t want a fast boat. I can cruise faster than the R21 but today I spent a couple of hours at 7-8 knots cruising up through the Gulf Islands to the marina where I am overnighting. It was glorious. I saw eagles and dolphins. While keeping an eye out for logs and stuff I could get up and get a coffee on the way. It was the journey, not the destination that was important. I would be happy to share in a slow boat adventure when the Covid pandemic is over. Having said all that I fully understand why others prefer the outboard powered faster craft. Many want to enjoy the destination for longer and certainly the impression of speed can be exhilarating. Everyone to his/her own.
