Small dog PFD Recommendation (reposting)

Someone posed a question during the period that the website was in transition-- and it looks like their post was one of those lost... so reposting on their behalf.

Question: PFD recommendation for 8 lb. Havanese

Response: We actually have an 8 lb. Havanese/Maltese mix ourselves and love the "Ruff Wear" life jacket (more details here: http://www.ruffwear.com/K9-float-coat?sc=2&category=694). It is a bit pricey (~$80), but is well designed, rugged, but most importantly, makes carrying the dog by the handle easy (and rather amusing).

The smallest size (XXS) fits our 8lb dog.
