While compounding our hull the other day I noticed two small holes in the hulls exterior. One has completely popped through the gelcoat and the second appears to be capping through the gelcoat. They are only pin size holes but I did not notice them last summer. I do not think anything is screwed into the hull from the inside, but I cannot be positive as it is only carpet (fuzz) on the walls. They seem to be uniform and centered under these windows. I posted this in the general discussion section and got a few responses. It does not appear that the previous owner had anything mounted on this wall. It was recommended that I slit the fuzz wall to see if there are screws at this location. Before doing this I was wondering if the factory could tell me if there are screws typically used in this area during manufacturing? It just appears to be the flat fiberglass/gelcoat wall to me.
Pictures are in my album. (How do you post them in the body of the message?)
Thank you in advance,
