On the extreme end of the bow of my ranger tug 25 are two small nylon or rubberized pieces screwed in near the anchor platform.
They are on either side of the long black strip extending down the bow,1 which I presume to be a guard against the anchor and chain rubbing against the gelcoat of the bow. These two small pieces ( approx. 1 inch by 3 inches) are of the same material and are screwed in with 2 screws on either side at the very top of the anchor guard.
I noticed one on the starboard side has cracked and part of it is missing. Anyone know what this piece is called so I can order a new on?
