I violated the command "if it's not broken, don't fix it".
I bought my boat about 1 year ago. I thought the solar controller (standard Epever) was not right because some LED lights were not showing. However, the monitor in the salon showed everything working fine. Nevertheless, I stupidly replaced the controller with a new one, and accidentally shorted 2 wires (for battery "1) causing a spark. After I connected the wires, the green charging indicator for battery #1 was not lit, but the indicator for #2 was lit, and the meter showed charging only for battery #2. The meter shows a fault for battery #1 (blinking battery icon).
I searched all over for a fuse or breaker, but couldn't find one.
Is there a fuse or breaker for the solar panels, or, do I have a different problem?
Thanks!
