I’m giving up my slip next season and staying on a mooring. I’d like to add a second solar panel to the cockpit roof. Can you let me know what I’d need for the installation. Obviously another panel to start, do I need to upgrade the controller? is there a kit that would include everything? I just started looking into this, not as familiar with electronics as I am mechanical. I’m a plumber by trade so do have some experience. Thanks for any help you can send my way!

You’ll need to upgrade the solar controller to at least a 60-amp model (or larger). The exact size will depend somewhat on the wattage and number of solar panels you install. When wiring the panels, you can connect them together at the puck on the roof. We don’t offer a pre-made kit for this—you’ll need to source the components individually.
