Source for Generator, A/C intake screen ?

Does anyone have a source for a replacement fine mesh screen used on the Generator or A/C raw water intakes? I have one that has split and would like to replace it.

Hi Brian,

Years ago I replaced the fine screen on the coarse one, the fine kept plugging up too fast. At that time I got it from Ranger, not sure if they still have them since they no longer use these strainers.

Thanks Howard, those will work. I also noticed that they carry the complete strainer that is made by Jabsco.
I think I will stick with the fine mesh screen as that is what originally was on the generator. I never had the screen plug up only the bottom of the strainer assembly when some weed gets sucked in. The finer screen will also protect the heat exchanger from possibly getting clogged with larger particles. The A/C unit uses the coarse screen on my boat.

The screen sells for around $11.00, Defender has a minimum order amount, plus shipping charges so just ordering the screen alone was prohibitive. Jamestown Distributors sells it but not available for pick up, I live about 25 minutes from their store. So onto Ebay where the complete assembly is less than $20.00 with free shipping.
