Tug At My Heart
My name is Reno Farinelli and my wife is Leah. We are pretty new 25C tug owners(used2009tug). Boating for 35 years+ we have found our new floating home away from home. "Tug at my Heart" will be at The Keys Marina South Lake Tahoe from June 15th thru Sept 15th. Anyone interested JULY 19th-22st at the Keys in South Lake Tahoe We would like to Host a intro to Lake Tahoe for new and old Tahoe fans. Great anchorage in Emerald Bay. Come, Lets Cruise all of Lake Tahoe on the 21st, ending with a BBQ in Emerald Bay on the Ranger floatilla . The Woody's are always cruising on those summer days too, great to watch. Deep Blue Crystal Clear water. Like to Fish, Want to dive a Wreck in Emerald Bay....I know the spot. Great Dining and tons of entertainment. It's very easy to spend a week or.....3 months. Chilly at night and perfect during the day. If your a Golf Fan....that is the big Golf Classic weekend. Viewable from the shore anchored right at the grand stand.
.
1 thing.....the inspection/fee and launch is min $100 And if you have standing water or "anything" in your bilge...... you better clean'm out before you come. They are very fussy at the station and will charge you more to clean it out, if its not.
.
Send a contact for more info or questions. Hope to see you on the water this summer. Thanks Reno & Leah

Nita and I know "Tug of my Heart" very well, you are very lucky to get her. The previous owners didn't give up on boating, they bought a R-27. You will love her, congratulations.

If we had a tug, and a trailer, and the time, we would so be there in a heartbeat! I'm originally from Carmichael (Sacramento area) and grew up spending summers at a mountain cabin on Echo Summit (Hwy 50), which is maybe 7 miles from the Keys Marina. These days, we go back at least once a summer, more if we can. We kayak the mountain lakes as well as Lake Tahoe, and have kayaked Emerald Bay (launching from Baldwin Beach), Sand Harbor to Skunk Harbor, the keys, and other parts of Tahoe. I've seen a Nordic Tug at the marina, but never a Ranger Tug. We'll be up around the 4th of July probably, maybe earlier or later too. You can bet we'll have an eye out for you, and if we have our kayaks out in the keys, or go to the Fresh Catch for lunch or dinner, we'll look for you and say hi!

It's kind of hard to think about Frozen Lake Tahoe right now since the temps there have been hovering around Minus -10 Deg. 😱
Home in the shop working on the boat for this season. Installed a 20hp Yamaha 4 stk Kicker on a panther lift with helm and remote control. I can build and install all that but I cant figure out how to post a pic on tugnuts or I would.
Just got our Coast Guard Inspection and 2013 Boarded sticker.
Interior recover and cockpit fold down seating almost ready for install..

Hope a few can make it to Tahoe this year. If you have not been....you should come.

See you on the water

Getting a User Photo Album for your Ranger Tug is easy but it requires submitting a request from within the site structure.

1. Sign on to the site, if you aren't already.

2. Select the User Control Panel link from the upper left corner of any page. Note: On the home page, this link is in your user menu.

3. Click the Usergroups tab, then select the radio button next to the User Albums group.

Scroll down, choose "Join selected" in the drop-down menu, and click the Submit button.

Once you do this, an email is automatically sent to the administrator (me). That message will trigger my ability to approve your request, and you'll receive an email indicating your membership in the User Albums group has been activated.

I'll watch for the message, and look forward to seeing your pictures.

Cheers,

Bruce
