Ranger R29 CB- 3 starboard side speakers no sound-the speaker on fore deck, CB speaker and cockpit speaker.Did check the balance setting. I believe all those speakers are on Zone 3 of the Fusion. There is a Zone 4 on the Fusion panel but doesn't seem to be connected to any speaker. My understanding of the set-up is that Zone 1 and 2 are powered by the main fusion unit and other zones are from a separate amp-is that correct?Should that be my starting point for trouble-shooting?Side note-we have only used the interior speakers(Zones 1 and 2) until now so unknown if the problem is long standing. Thanks

1. Make sure Zone 1 or 2 is at LEAST on the lowest volume setting as some Amps wont power sense without it.
2. Check Amp Fuse
3. Check to make sure the RCA jack is seeded properly into the head unit from the amp
4. Check speaker connections at Amp
5. Check the connections behind the speakers for corrosion.

As a former audio engineeer I would also throw out to check that the speaker cones are moving. We just bought an '17 R27, and while getting the boat ready for transport, checked the radio (actually sitting in a parking lot on a trailer, that's about it for BOATING...). Port cockpit speaker is frozen, likely due to salt water intrusion/corrosion in the speaker. Twist the cover off and push on the speaker cone, if it moves, it will make sound. Speakers don't last forever, they will seize, get blown due to overpowering, etc., water damage. If the cone is warped, it will feel like it's scraping in the groove where it sits on the magnet.

Sounds like a wiring / electrical issue for you if you have several speakers on one side only not working.
