Well Folks ,,, spring service on the R25 ... put in a neutra-salt system and went to replace a suspected shear pin in aft thruster ... turns out monofilament line got wound up inside thruster prop and instead of taking out the shear pin ($20 fix) it turned into a $600 gear and two hours labor to repair .... I guess I got out lucky because you know how much a new thruster cost, but I guess my point is to not take for granted the shear pin protects you. Not much I could have done different .... impossible to troubleshoot wet ,,,, so ,,, now you know what I know. I have a good service company to go to so they try to keep it economic as possible .... but sure did not see that coming. Just a heads up for you folks .... Other than that, we are better off and hope to get into water tomorrow or Monday. Have a fantastic summer !!!
