Hi, I'm planning a trip from Palm Beach to the upper St. John River. I have part of the charts but would like to get the rest - hopefully on an SD card for my chart plotter. Thanks

My Bluechart doesn’t have St Johns. Sounds like the same user error as the Rideau missing chart. Garman is not currently supported on the IPad and Garman support views that as the answer.

Thank you.

I lived on the St. Johns (Debary, FL, between Orlando and Deland) for 7 years and always used the Navionics Ipad app for navigating the river. They were detailed enough, easy to read, and worked perfectly. Hope this helps.

Garman recently purchased Navoncs. At the boat show they said neither that software nor mobile blue chart work on an iPad or iPhone any longer. They hope it will again soon

Stuart,

I don't know what is going on with your Garmin products. I have Garmin Bluecharts on my Ipad and iphone and it works fine and I have all the details everywhere. On my 5212 I installed Garmin US039R and I have information for everywhere in the US and even parts of Canada.

Knot, I'm also stumped. My Bluechart stuff is a download and my chartplotter is a SD card - nothing in common but the symptom. Garmin says to wait a while and call again after they fix the bug.

That's great, in the meanwhile what is one supposed to do? On the ipad, did you try deleting the app, reloading it and reinstalling the charts? On the app, you have to open up the chart sections you want to use. This eliminates using up too much memory on the device.

The Garman apps of been removed from the iPhone and iPad App Store. I think what you’re supposed to do is use Google Maps and guess where the river is.

The app is still for sale. https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/114005 You should be able to delete it and reinstall at no cost. Once it is reloaded you should also be able to reload the maps.
I see that it lists the app, but I don't see a price or how to buy or download.

I recently downloaded garmin and Active captain to iPad, both work fine, but I like navionics better, both show St. John’s.
