Stain color

I made a new cockpit table out of mahogany and would like to stain it to a close match to the dining table. Any ideas on what stain mfg and color best matches? 2014 R31

I made many interior wood components in my C26. I used marine plywood and for our cockpit table I used pine planking and laminated the planks together. For staining I went to Benjamin Moor with a sample of the interior (cabinet door) I also brought in a piece of wood that was used for the construction of the components. The store representative used this to mix up a stain that matches. Note: the way the stain is applied can change the color. I applied stain lightly and worked it in until it was a close match.

As you can see from the photos. The match is not consistent. The stain is very close if applied perfectly. I'm not a furniture maker so my skills are not that good at matching. Some of my staining was perfect some was not. Good luck with your project.
