Starboard Helm and Air Conditioning

Concerning the Ranger R 21EC; what was the first year you moved the helm from center to starboard? ...and.....what was the first year air conditioning became available?

Hello Ajpower,

Welcome to Tugnuts!

The 21 was a "Classic" with the center helm and smaller (shorter length-wise) cabin. This model ended in the approx 2006 model year. Thereafter the 21EC was produced which always had the STB helm and somewhat larger pilot house.

I don't know what year AC became an available option...well, it's ALWAYS been available as aftermarket installation, but if you mean factory installed AC, I'm not sure when they started offering it.

I was curious when the "modern" era started. Part of the history of these well thought out machines. It would be interesting to see how the company evolved.
