Thanks everyone. That was exactly what the issue was. I did not think to look in the cave or the head for GFCI outlets since I could not find such easy/simple instructions (regarding locations) in the Ranger manuals. Given all the questions/problems (more like irritants) I have had solved over the past couple of months from this Tugnuts' forum simple advice (learned from mostly experience)--that is not made available in a simple Ranger Tugs "trouble Shooting" pamphlet, I think I will eventually put one together for future Tuggers.
Rather than spending an hour or more pouring through all the manuals, analyzing, reviewing, frustration, etc. if I could have just referred to a simple one or two page pamphlet that had the following (for example--the little problems have encountered):
1. How to use the inverter while under way: Step 1, Step, 2, etc. as I was able to understand VERY quickly and easily from this forum. (30 seconds to do and fix)
2. No AC outlet power: check the GFCI in the cave and head (30 seconds to do and fix)
3. Windlass not working: check to see if the breaker has been bumped and tripped (less than 30 seconds to do and fix)
4. Faucet leaking: tighten small screw on coil hose under sink/clean out faucet screen: (less than 20 minutes)
5. Starboard outlet breaker trips: Advice: don't use too much electrical stuff at once. (less than 10 seconds)
6. Head smell: first solution--flush long enough to move waste out of toilet plumbing system into holding tank (e.g. simply count to 3 when flushing)
All this and more put in a simple Ranger Tugs Trouble Shooting pamphlet . . .
With Tugnuts' help it took me a total of 1 minute and 40 seconds to resolve 5 irritants, and 20 minutes to fix a plumbing problem. Whereas I spent MUCH, MUCH time trying to resolve these little "irritants" before simple asking the forum.
Thanks Tugnuts. . . . . Ranger Tugs? When will you have your simple, easy to read and helpful little "Trouble Shooting for Idiots (like me)🙂" pamplet?
