Since I bought my 2012 R21 I have had a starting issue. Right now it appears that it could be battery related.
Batteries sitting at 12.5 v but it won't turn over with key, but will if I use a remote starter sw from the solenoid.
If I run the boat for a bit it starts with the switch, so it could be a bad cell in the starting battery, draining while it sits for awhile.
My question is this, can I use a pure starting battery in place of a dual battery for my staring circuit. I am not sure how the ACR's will react to that. Any thoughts.
I read about jumping the ACR = I want to try that next.
