Hello,

I have a new 2021 Ranger Tug 25' and its difficult to turn wheel to left when under speed. Seems ok when idle or low speed but difficulty increases as I increase speed to about 20mph. Turning to right is smooth but I'll have to use some muscle to turn to left. Its not bumpy or notchy just hard to turn. Like it's binding. I have a right hand prop with a outboard Yamaha F250. Steering is hydraulic.

Dealership said this is normal operation with a right hand prop. I don't think I should have this much difficulty. And only happens with turning to left. System was bled with no bubbles observed.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

I can't speak specifically for your boat, but most outboards have a little skeg that can be adjusted to give more left or right hand assistance to balance out the thrust of the OB.
