Yesterday was both a sad day and yet a happy day for Maureen and I. We arrived in Seattle at 2:00 am after towing Stella Maris from Las Vegas to Seattle non stop.

She was brought back to Seattle to be delivered to her new owners that will moor her through the summer in the slip adjacent to Destiny in Stimsons Marina (Ballard). This was our sad day... We loved Stella Maris and enjoyed her thoroughly. We just however were not using her as much as we should. Therefore, it was time for her to move on.

The happy part of the day came because, Maureen and I are now officially residents of the State of Washington. Maureen accepted a new HR position with Whole Foods in Seattle. We are now official "Sea Dwellers" living aboard Destiny in Ballard.

What a great life we lead!

Congratulations to you and Stella Maris' new owner. Sounds like a good day all around [emoji106]

Congrats on the sale of the 21 and the new position for Maureen! Sure is going to make that "commute" easier!

Best wishes,
Jim B.

Congrats on the move! Wonderful city and Seattle was our first 'Whole Foods' experience/adventure many years ago. Must be a great place to work as the philosophy seems 'wholesome.'

David and Maureen --- Must be something in the air at Whole Foods. A number of years ago I sold my Yamaha 30 to one of their department managers. I got the impression that he wasn't as interested in sailing as he was having an interesting place to live. May have to start the "Whole Foods Yacht Club". Anyway, welcome home. --- Cary
