Stern Thruster not working

Hi - yesterday approaching dock our Stern Thruster stopped working. The motor seems to run but can't move either port or starboard. Suspect may be shear pin based on reading of other posts, would like to know if you think that's right and where to get it fixed. We are on Lake Union in Seattle.

Look at the thread for Trim Tabs in the General Technical Discussion. Doug Kersten's reply links to two youtube videos. They give a pretty good set of troubleshooting procedures for the trim tabs.

If the motor spins but there is no thrust, take a look and see if you still have a thruster propeller. At kinda the same time, actuate the thruster and see if there is any water movement. If you indeed have a thruster propeller, and it is not moving, you have a shear pin problem.

If you are young and flexible, it is a DIY issue. Otherwise, a "write-the-check" issue. Being from South Dakota, I have no idea on where to get it fixed. I would contact Andrew or Kenny for a recommendation.
