There are two storage areas on the port side of our C30S cabin that aren’t drawers but have doors.... anyone have suggestions of how to make the most of these areas? I was thinking a long container that could be removed?

Are you talking about one in the state room, and one in the galley? in the stateroom, we store boots, hiking poles, extra jackets and such items under there.

In the galley we have put some baskets and they hold a lot of extra parts such as electrical and plumbing parts, backup VHF antenna and nav lights, and in front of those, a Magma nesting cookware set. I agree that pull out baskets make it much more usable!

The galley...will try to find some baskets that can be pulled out!!

I have small plastic bins that stack in those cupboards for various kitchen items. If you put the rubber grippy shelf liner in first, they shift around less underway.

I am converting my doors to drawers on my R23. Bottom mount, soft closing drawer slides. Having a drawer that pulls out is a big improvement for me. You can either keep the doors on or put a new front on. I’m going to put a new front on. The wood used for the galley had the screws pull out when I accidentally walked into the open door (fish on!). The ply used is not easily repaired when this happens.
