We own a Ranger 2019 27". We are having difficulty lighting our propane Force stove for the first time. We have confirmed that the propane tank is connected to the regulator. We know that the propane tank is full. The ignitor on both burners is firing, but we are getting no propane to the burners. Is there a shutoff valve between the transom propane locker and the stove?

Propane tank valve has to be open. Solenoid needs to be open (push the button until you hear a click and the green light comes on). This provides propane to the stove/oven. Then...

Turn the burner knob to light, then push in the burner knob in and hold it in while you hit the ignition.
Should light in about 3 seconds.

Thanks, Martin! Where would I find the Solenoid that needs to be opened? I think this is our missing piece! Thanks, again!

On our 2016 R-27, it is located on the face of the galley cabinet to the left of the sink I believe.
I am not at the boat right now

The solenoid control switch is located to the left of the stove on our 2020 r27. It incorporates a leak sensor.

On ours: Turn the burner knob to light, then hit the ignition, then while it' sparking and you are holding the burner knob in turn the burner knob clockwise.

We have a 2014 R29, new to us. Took me several hours to: first, discover the solenoid switch, second blunder into the start sequence.

Bottom left button on the valve control will activate the valve if all safeties satisfied. Should have a green light next to valve.

If you have done all of the above and still cannot produce any propane, check to make sure the fuse for the shut off valve is in. Standard procedure for many people when putting up the boat for any length of time is to pull this fuse so that it does not drain the battery.
Good luck!
Bobby

Another thing you may want to check is a tank safety valve issue. Sometimes they get stuck. However another issue is that if you connect when the stove valve may be on, the safety valve kicks in. To release it you can remove the tank and make sure all valves are closed and reconnect. Once reconnected it could take a little bit for propane to reach burner. Worth the try.

Thanks, everyone! We were able to get both the stove and the oven working just by turning on the solenoid and letting the gas get through the line. Thanks again everyone! This group is always so helpful!
