The stand off blocks supporting the straps around the black water tank in my R-25 Classic have failed.

These starboard blocks are used in several places on the boat supporting the tank straps. Some, like these, are easy to access. If you have an older model Ranger Tug that uses these blocks I’d recommend giving them a look.
Replaced these specific blocks with UHMW measuring the same 3” long by 1.25” high by 0.75” wide.

Thanks for posting for the benefit of others. What year is your boat? I ask so others know when they might need to swap these blocks out.

Jim,
Our Journey is a 2009 R-25 Classic. These blocks are at the kerosene/diesel tank for the cooktop and the black water tank. Three of four blocks that I’ve examined have failed. There may be others that I haven’t found yet.
I’m theorizing that the use of countersunk heads on the wood screws is part of the reason for failure. I’m going to use a pan head or button head screw with a washer to spread the load on the plastic out a bit more.
