With summer being just over the horizon, many of you are making your cruising plans. Please share with everyone what your plans are. Where are you planning to cruise? Will you anchor out or marina hop? Do you want "tag alongs" or are you going off on your own?

Then, once you cast your lines ashore, share through your own words as well as pictures, your trip.

I will start this off. If Karma does not sell by this Sunday, she will be headed back to the PNW. We have already secured a slip at the Winslow Marina on Bainbridge Island. To get her there, we will purchase a trailer. On our way north, we will put in at Bridge Bay Marina on Lake Shasta for a week of Fresh Water Cruising. Our planned arrival date is the evening of June 10th. We will pull her out of the water on the morning of June 18th and finish the trip north to Alki Point where she will once again splash in Puget Sound. John and Laurie Grey will be joining us aboard the Laurie Ann.

Our first cruise once back in the PNW will be to Poulsbo for the 4th of July weekend! We will arrive in Poulsbo on June 30th in order to be able to secure a slip in the marina. There are currently 121 slips available for this weekend on a first come first served basis. We will depart on Monday, July 4th (Poulsbo has their fireworks on July 3rd every year). Feel free to join us in Poulsbo!

Right now, our plans for Desolation are to depart on the 26th of August heading north. We are going to put in two long days and hopefully arrive in Desolation on Sunday the 28th. We will start the run south on the 2nd of September. Anyone wanting to come along is welcome.

Remember, the above cruising plans are all contingent upon what happens this weekend with Karma!

Whoo Hoo!! Am I a bad person for hoping that Karma does not sell??? Hopefully we can connect with you at some point this summer!!

We already had an overnight to Winter Cove before Easter with members of the Salt Spring Sailing Club. That's It will be heading out this weekend for Wallace Island and Pirate's Cove Marine Parks and at the end of May we hope to head to Ladysmith Harbour for their annual festival, along with our new Salt Spring Tug Nut friends, Kim and Karen the owners of "Nest Egg" an R-27.

Gail (and Patrick too)
