Has any Ranger Tug 29S owner have pictures of a successful bimini sunbrella top with ideas how to attach side/back light weight sun shades?
Also with same boat, has anyone added other hanging rods for more jacket storage? Pictures?
Has any one cut the quaterberth cushion at the" hinge" to allow more bin storage access?

Appreciate any other storage tips-----brand new boat. Where do we "store" the fenders while underway?
Where did others install the boot hook pole?

We are hesitant to make any major changes on our 2017 R29S regarding shade, so we purchased a relatively inexpensive HydraShade boat umbrella to experiment with until we decide what we really want/need.

Haven't figured out good jacket storage yet.

Not a lot of wall space but we did use a Command product (sticky velcro) to hang a Salish Sea map on the teak wall next to the head door.

We took the cushion out entirely.

We don't store the fenders, we just pull them up and in, depending on location.

We are in the process of getting a boat hook clip for mounting the hook vertically in the space on the left side of the door frame. There is just enough space there when the door is open...we've seen it this way on another 29...wish I had taken a photo.

We store our boat hook in the gutter behind the eyebrow over the helm door. It's easy access when going to the bow or when single handing and it's pretty secure there. Most fenders stay tied off to the roof rails and are flipped on to the roof for storage underway.

We have occasional guests, so don't remove the cushions in the cave. We just stack the aft most cushion on the forward one when not needed to store items there without worrying about protecting the cushion. I covered the entire cave berth with those interlocking anti fatigue mats. Not only do they protect the deck from getting scuffed up, they added a bit of comfort by preventing the cushion from bottoming out. I'm thinking about pulling the fabric off the forward cabin cushions and installing anti fatigue mats under the those cushions too. I'm just not sure if that will increase the comfort as much as thin latex or memory foam on top.

We don't have a Bimini, so I'm also curious about inexpensive shade while we decide to go the Bimini or hard top route.

Jacket storage is a challenge. I think the best solution is a warmer climate.
