I believe that there is going to be a Cutwater/ Ranger Tug raft up on February 1st at pelican bay. We are planning on going and I will post the Facebook page that I found out about the raft up. Pelican bay is off the ICW behind Cayo Costa just south of the Gulf entrance into Charolette Harbor.

that fits in with our idea of heading over there from stuart with our new RT25. if anyone has some coordinates for the location I can use it for a nice learning experience with my mate learning about the Garmin unit.

26 degrees 55.380’N . 82 degrees 3.985’W. On the Garmin or Navionics find Cayo Costa and Pelican Bay is on the back side of the barrier Island right off the ICW. Don’t rely on my coordinates completely.

Too bad we cant take delivery of our boat sooner! The broker is estimating 3 weeks for delivery for us. Regardless, soon to be new R27 owners from Crystal River, FL!

We just pulled into pelican bay. Took all day from stuart to here. About 15 boats in here. No tugs, exhausted and Hungary.

Turbo,

I hope you find some fellow tugs and that you had a fun voyage.

Unrelated question, but my wife grew up in Stuart and we are going to be out there in July as tourists after many years on the West Coast. A lot of the places she remembers have closed, e.g., the Jolly Sailor, and we are looking for recommendations on new places to visit - could be restaurants, points of interest, anything. Do you have any must-see recommendations for someone returning after 25 years?

My wife and I will be there on our C24 providing not to windy.

I'll bet! That's damn long trip in one day!

The fog has lifted here. Anyone on the water give us a call on 16/13. We may be out checking some areas like jug creek.
