Hi all,
I’m the proud new owner of a 1997 Ranger R-21. First time boat owner, and have longed over the tugs for a long time. So when this boat popped up for sale in landlocked Utah, right across the street from my parents house, it was too much to resist and we took the plunge. Our plan is to learn the ropes on our local lakes before considering anything ocean related.
Now to my question, we definitely want to swim from the boat, but this model does not have a swim platform. We have looked at rope ladders, but I’m not sure my kids (or myself) would be able to climb up. What options are out there to get back in the boat from the water? Looking for easy options and being new to this all, modifying the boat with any new holes makes me a bit nervous.
Thanks!
