Yes, I believe trim tab indicators would be a huge help! please refer to my posting on this site regarding Cutwater's Trim Tabs...

At this link, I describe the issues associated with the small size of Cutwater's trims. There are two aftermarket products from Bennett 1) Trim Tab Indicator and 2) an Auto Trim Control.
1. The trim tab indicator would be very nice to preset the trim (particularly the port side) because 80% of the time the trim is most "comfortable" in a certain (uneven) position (read my post for more on this). I plan to install a TPI later this season...
2. Auto Trim Tab Control (ATC). Bennett has an ATC which, once set or "zeroed", it will automatically set trim according to changing conditions (balance, wind, waves, etc.) I have installed this unit to help compensate for the issues described in my post, but this only works under more "normal" conditions. That is, it works well on the ocean with limited changes to the boat; but when faster adjustments are needed (people crossing from one side of the boat to the other), it does not react fast enough - manual intervention needed. But I believe this is not a Bennett ATC issue, but more related to the undersized trim tabs Cutwater installed on these boats. I continue to test all of these parameters, but everything seems to be pointing to a need for increased trim tab size on Cutwater 28.
Hope that help... and yes, I'd get the Trim Position Indicators.
