The table in my 2019 R-29 CB won’t stay up, no matter how much I tighten the clamps on its pedestal leg. What am I missing?

Also, I’ve been told that the table comes down to make a bed, but I haven’t figured out what I’m supposed to use as a mattress atop the table itself. Any hints for me?

Somewhere on the boat there should be a cushion that is cut specifically to fit the tabletop in the lowered position. In my 2012 R27, that cushion is stored in the cave. If it’s not on the boat, the previous owner may still have it.

even with the clamps tight, I find that the table on my Cutwater inevitably does the same over time. typically, it tilts to starboard more at first, because in my boat at least, the mount is offset slightly from the center of the table. I am constantly correcting it and tightening everything up. One of my minor annoyances of the boat...

Nope. That cushion did not come with the boat and the previous owner claims he included everything.

I also did not get a table for the CB, although I do have a leg for it.

It’s driving me nuts, mostly because my little dogs keep clocking their heads on the table bottom when trying to jump up onto the seat after the table starts drifting down.

I cut a 2x2 that is just the right length to support the table in its full up position. Wedge it in beneath the table and no more "sagging" issues....with the table, that is.... 😀
