Howdy all,
I should have posted this sooner because I think moorage is filling up but we are hosting a free party on Friday, Oct. 3rd on the Thea Foss Waterway in Tacoma. Admission is free with paid moorage for Yachtoberfest.
The short story:
Tacoma Waterfront Assoc. created an event this year called Yachtoberfest. It will be right in front of the Museum of Glass on the Foss Waterway. It is happening on Saturday, Oct. 4th. Tacoma reached out to us (The Boat Guy) to help promote the event to boaters. A couple key sponsors (Elliott Bay Marina, Dock Street Marina, and Foss Landing Marina) from the Boat Guy Winter Rendezvous stepped up with cash and are sponsoring a hosted Friday night party for everyone who buys moorage for the event! On top of that, your moorage purchase also gets you 4 tickets into the actual "Yachtoberfest" event the following day which will feature over 20 craft breweries, 3 wineries, live music and German food. The tagline for the event is "Boats, Beers & Bratwurst" so you know it should be good. We will be there with The Boat Guy 1 for both days and both parties (big surprise).
Check the info below and book asap if you can make it. Sorry for the late notice, I was still recovering from the Ranger Rendezvous and our devastating corn hole championship run.
