We are looking for recommendations for boat storage for a R-27, out of the water, no more than about an hour from Tampa airport. We know the Tug/Cutwater community might have some ideas for us. Please respond to us with a PM. Thanks for your help!

If the boat owner is military or retired military, MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa has a marina, boat ramp, and storage yard.
If not military, you may want to look at Westchase RV and boat storage. It's just west of town off Hillsborough Ave.

By the way, my wife and I really enjoyed your Great Loop seminar at the Seattle Boat Show. We're in the early planning stages now.

Just to clarify, do you want to keep it on the water, on a lift or in dry storage? I have recommendations for all the above.

We are focusing on: the boat is on its trailer; under cover like a carport and access to power.

About an hour or less from Tampa airport. We are also looking at the Fort Myers airport.
All suggestions are welcome!

Welcome back to the Ranger Tug family John and Laurie. I've attached a link to a storage place we've used twice, its on the mainland side of Ft Myers Beach. Although we've stored our truck and trailer there outside I know they have a couple of buildings but I don't know what they store inside....worth a call and the rates are reasonable.

HSI Marine (HSIMarine.com) is located in South Tampa near the Gandy Boat ramp with easy access to the Tampa Bay. They offer storage at a reasonable rate. There is also A UHaul storage facility in South Tampa with affordable secure boat storage also very close to Gandy boat ramp. Good luck.
