Technodrive filter

The filter will not come loose from technodrive transmission. I have tried tapping on threaded shaft with thumb screw turned backwards, but no luck. No one seems to know on this web, or anyplace else. Would it help to run engine for a time?
If the factory tech can't help is there a technodrive rep in the states?

I'm not sure of the issue. The threaded shaft is the stud with a nut used to hold the flat tab that holds the filter in the housing. Loosen the nut and swing the flat tab away from the filter. Once the flat tab is off the filter cover you will need to work the cover out of the housing. There is an O ring that is going to hold it in the housing. You will need to work the cover by prying on the tab on the top of the cover. Working the cover side to side and prying out will unseat the o-ring. If it has not been removed in a while you may need to wire brush around the cover and lightly tap the cover to break the seal. The cover pulls straight out. You may know all of this but the tapping on the threaded shaft description I didn't understand. Good luck with the project.

I have no flat tab just a round cover that the nut sits on. Wish I knew how to down load a picture of it.
So, I take it the threaded rod does not move, and the flat plate has to be pried off?

I have not worked on one of those gears in years. The way I remember, there was a stud offset of the filter. The stud had a flat plate attached to it and the nut held the plate in place. To pull the filter to clean it. The nut is loosened and the plate is then turned to remove it from holding the filter cover in place. The filter cover and filter are sealed by an O-ring. This O-ring will make it difficult to remove the filter cover if it has been in for a long time. This may or may not be what you have but that is the removal process that I remember. A photo would help me confirm this is what you have. Posting Photos now is difficult or not possible because the site is changing its format right now.
