Has anyone experience finding their television on the deck of the cabin?

We tend to trailer our tug to different locations, and twice now, we have climbed aboard to discover that sometime during the trailering trip, the television unit has disconnected itself from the hanging bracket and is on laying on the deck. There is one bolt, washer, and screw that keeps the television attached to the overhead bracket, and both times, the nut seems to have come loose.

Now we have a television with cracks in the frame (I haven't turned it on, so I don't know if we have a servicable television yet), and the gelcoat and flooring in the cabin has scratches from the falling television.

I'm hoping there maybe a different fix to this issue, since one bolt isn't doing the trick.

Have you tried reattaching that "nut" using a "lock washer," maybe with a second washer and a second nut?

The vibration of the boat is certainly the cause of that "nut" loosening.

There are special nuts with a Teflon inserts that tend to keep them from loosening.
