Yes thank you I saw that. Very helpful. I’m also I interested in the trip over and visiting multiple islands. I love the boat And the ability to trailer it back North but worry it may not be enough size for extended stays.

Hi I regularly take my ranger 27 AliceJ to the Bahamas for the past five years. I have left from West Palm Beach to a little Bahamas bank anchoring at sale cay then clearing customs at either grand cay or green turtle. I have also left from no-name Harbor in Miami to Bimini clearing . Then cross the Grand Bahama bank to Chubb Cay refuel then went down Andros crossing over to Staniel key. Then down to Georgetown with a side trip to Long Island. Back up to the Exuma‘s to Spanish Wells then up to the Abacos and back to Florida. I’ve been to Nassau not my favorite place the city is safe during the daytime but it’s another story at night I think the only safe place to get a slip is on Paradise Island.

Yes, the 31 should be enough boat…
Patty and I spent two months cruising the Bahamas on our 29. We left from Key West (overnighter) to Bimini where we cleared in and completed our 5 day Covid test. Then on to the Berry’s, Exumas, as far south as Long Island via Geortown, and then back up the chain. (Don’t overlook Conception (our favorite)). …via Eleuthera and the Abacos. All total about 1300 miles from Key West to West Palm. We spent approximately 60% of our time on the hook.
