I just got my copy of the October 2011 PACIFIC YACHTING magazine and there is a feature article "The Livingston Legacy -- from tenders to trailerable tugs".
You want to get a copy. All the family history, including:
-- How Dave invented fiberglass
-- How Dave changed chickens into boats
-- How to tow a Ranger 29 with a 1965 Corvette
-- How he managed to build 56,000 boats in his dug out basement
The above might not be exactly 100% correct as I did read the article pretty quickly, but I though accuracy could suffer a bit for speed in posting.
For those of you not in the Pacific Northwest or British Columbia, you can subscribe to the online version at www.pacificyachting.com.
