Linda & I cruised over to Langley for lunch today, and then watched two gray whales feeding on the way back. They would take a couple of breaths, then lift their tails and dive down to feed for a few minutes. Then, come up and repeat. I finally learned the trick with my camera - I freeze the autofocus first, then the shutter clicks just when I want it to. I got some good pictures, but my album is full already so I can't post 'em.
They were in the middle of Possession Sound heading south, about two miles north of Possession Point. Just beautiful...
