Throttle only button on volvo penta

Yesterday, i invoked the throttle only to warm the engines a bit more than just at idle. when i went to disengage it, i couldnt. i tried back to neutral, switching stations, even STOP on the engine. the only way to reset was kill the engine at the battery. the docs seem light, it looks like i should just go back to neutral. anyone have experience here?

I use the Throttle Only quite often and am able to go back to neutral without problems.

Hello bsaitz, I don't believe I've heard of this issue before, however you might have a stuck button, or potentially a faulty helm control unit. Before attempting to switch stations, did you return the throttle to neutral? You'll also want to make sure that the 'station' button wasn't locked, which would show a red lock symbol on the button itself.
