We have a 2009 R-29 and I sure wish we could install dual levers on ours. Ours has a mechanical shift cable but electronic sender unit (apparently there are two sending units as one of ours shorted to ground) manufactured by Teleflex. The problem is likely that Teleflex has signed some exclusive agreement with Yanmar. We had to buy a complete replacement from Yanmar after lightening took out one of the throttle position senders. It was called an "assembly" with no replacement parts. If Teleflex has something we could use, they aren't saying. We found a work around for the alternator which is a Valeo and also an "assembly." Hopefully someone out there has figured a way work around the Teleflex unit.
