I had my boat in the water for a week and then in storage for a few weeks. When returning and inspecting the anodes I noticed they were eaten outside the water. The boat was in salt but washed off afterwards. It was stored under a covered roof and yet I see anode material wasting away and collecting in the tunnel. How ist this possible

Is it possible that what you see is residual flaking of anode particles that were somewhat separated from the anode and weren't quite washed away and fell off after things dried out? Just a thought.
 
Anode termites. Yup. Fer sure :mrgreen:
