Last night as we returned from being the Sail Boat Race Committee platform I was coming down the Fairway with a 2 Knot side current and and as I approached my Back-In Slip, hit the Thruster on button and steered the boat to Port to line up to drift back into the slip. All the while several new folks were on the boat and asking "what can we do to help?" As the Current began to move the boat back, I pulsed the thruster to align and move along side the finger, only NO response. Hit the On Button again, no Action. Pulled forward to avoid my neighbors Sailboat, and fumbled to get the Thruster Remote in hopes that it would work, And it did, but kept shutting off. I was able to make a smooth docking and impressed the Crew. Have backed into this Slip 50 times and Thruster always worked. Went home and thought about what could be wrong with the Thruster Joy Sticks. Today I was back on the Boat and Tested the Thruster, and found that the Joy Stick has TWO ON Buttons, I KNEW THAT, but had a memory laps. Never Give Up the Ship.
