Thruster Controler

I have a 2010 25SC "This Dance". The bow and stern thrusters operate perfectly and I get plenty of grief in the marina for having both! I don't mind however! I do have a question about the controller though. The brand name is Side Power and it is the two vertical toggle controller with two on buttons and one off button. Like I said previously, they work perfectly but it is my understanding that the thrusters will time out and turn off after a period of time. Mine do not. I will turn them off with the off switch and they will turn on again after a short period of time. They do turn off completely when the battery switch is turned off. Thoughts? Where should I start troubleshooting this one. Thanks in advance TugNuts!

Very odd that they will turn back on. I would give Imtra (sidepower) a call. They are very helpful.

If it comes to this, it is very easy to replace with a new switch. Had to do this on my 2015 R31-CB.

May be easy, but the joystick will cost you about $500.00. I would do troubleshooting first.

Probably the controller. I'd remove and disconnect the bow then stern joystick and see if one or the other (or both) is/are causing the problem.

Thanks all! I am going to start the troubleshooting soon. I am going to check the batteries too! It is time. Maybe the battery could be the problem too. Thanks again.
